I’m Lana, the dimpled face behind the camera!! I specialize in capturing joyful and romantic stories with a candid, soft, timeless essence.
I began taking pictures at a very young age, around 7 years old, when my daddy brought home an old polaroid camera for me to “play with.” That’s when I realized how much I, not only enjoyed taking photos but, was actually kind of good at making beautiful and interesting images with that camera. Before then I was only able to create images with paint and colored pencils. Now I got to capture what I saw instantly! Animals, nature and those heart warming candid’s have always been my most favorite images to capture. I’ve recently grown quite fond of shooting fashion and editorial work.
It brings me so much joy capturing some of the most special and cherished moments in my clients lives. I admit its quite addicting! I simply love my job and cherish the friendships that are made.

I must inform you: This photographer stutters. I’ve stuttered since I was 3 years old and it still lingers into my adult years.
I do stutter when directing my clients, but I’ve had no complaints. Everyone is so patient and understanding and hey if it makes you laugh because you think I sound funny, even better. I love capturing those big real smiles.
I still get the job done.

ARTIST
I don’t feel like I’m living my fullest life unless I’m creating something. I play piano by ear, enjoy painting, videography, and want to learn to play the fiddle.
ADVENTURER
Before I started my photography business my dream was to work with animals, travel and document them in nature. I desperately wanted (and still dream) to work for Animal Planet or National Geographic as a photographer or videographer. I volunteered and worked at the humane society, went to school for Veterinary Medicine and worked in the field for 4 years hoping to eventually start working with exotics at a safari or exotic conservation…then I had my first child and had to switch gears. And that’s how I came back to photography and decided to make my beloved hobby into a business.
MOTHER & WIFE
I am also a very busy…and exhausted… mommy of two beautiful girls and 3 dogs.
My daughters names are Luna & Hope and my three dogs are Knight, Shadow, & Radar (all rescues). My handsome husbands name is Aaron. We would be a photography team…but he really can’t take even one decent….just..never mind. I love him :) he’s better at other (most) things.
